Wildlife expert quits local advisory group

In March 2016, wildlife expert Karsten Heuer resigned his position with a collaborative group working on the next steps for the Three Sisters development in Canmore.

A former president of Yellowstone to Yukon Conservation Initiative, Heuer said he resigned because he felt his voice wasn't being heard.

He was the only representative for the conservation community on the multi-stakeholder group that was meeting on the new development plans for the area.
