On November 6th, Canmore Town Council will make a decision on whether to participate in the City of Calgary’s bid to co-host the 2026 Olympic and Paralympic Games.

A non-statutory public hearing will be held at 5 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 30 to receive input from the public on the following question: “is it prudent for the Town of Canmore to participate in the City of Calgary’s bid to co-host the 2026 Olympic and Paralympic Games?” 

Anyone may make a verbal presentation at the public hearing. Presentations are limited to five minutes. Written submissions may be submitted ahead of time or at the public hearing. Submissions must be received by the municipal clerk at chyde@canmore.ca or in person before the close of the public hearing.
