Join University of Calgary Professor Shelley M. Alexander, Ph.D. for a presentation of The Rules we Make That Coyotes Break: Understanding Human Experience of Wildlife Co-existence.

Carnivore ecologists around the world argue that successful conservation of wildlife depends on improved understanding of humans, not animals. This talk will explore connections between human experiences, beliefs and behaviours towards carnivores, focusing specifically on human-coyote entanglements in the Foothills Parklands, east of Canmore.
